Dear Smoke Signals:
On behalf of the Lash family, we would like to thank each person who helped us through this hard time of our brother, Rory Lash.
Thanks to Kenny Haller, for his prayers for the family and for the services and to the men who helped: Duke Kimsey, Lynn Gatchell, Cory Lash, Rusty Leno, Gene LaBonte, Don Hendricks and Mike Sampson.
And thanks for all the ladies who helped prepare and bake the food and clean up: Cherie Butler, Gladys Hobbs, Violet Folden, Arelia Clark, Angie Kimsey, Myrna Brandon and Jennifer Butler.
And thanks to Bobby Mercier and the others who sang and drummed.
And a big thank you to Deitrich and Norm Peters.
If we forgot anyone else, we thank you.

Roll #42
Dear Smoke Signals:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Grand Ronde Tribe for having students in grades fifth and sixth visit the Tribal longhouse on Tuesday, Nov. 15. We all had a great time and learned a lot about the history of the Tribe and its customs.
We look forward to continuing to benefit from the cultural experiences the Tribe has to offer us.
