Tribal Housing slates emergency preparedness event

The Grand Ronde Tribal Housing Authority will be holding an emergency preparedness event dubbed "R U Ready for the Zombie Apocalpyse" at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov 1, in the Tribal Community Center.

The event, presented by the American Red Cross, will cover how to prepare for surviving a severe winter storm, earthquake or highly unlikely invasion of flesh-eating zombies. There also will be a Kids' Corner with activities and prizes.

The informational event is open to Tribal housing residents and Grand Ronde community members.

Chili and cornbread will be served.
