Tribal Government & News
Letters to the Editor -- Feb. 1, 2013
To the Tribal Council and people of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde:
It is a sad and joyous time in my life. I am retiring from the active ministry with the Episcopal Church. I am also getting married and relocating to central Arizona. My last day in Portland will be Feb. 12.
I want you to know that our association and partnership has been the most wonderful time in my life and in my career as an Episcopal priest. I really would not have ever been satisfied that God had called me to be a minister had we not gotten together in the Spirit. I will always be grateful for your love, support and for your presence in Oregon. Please know that you will always be in my prayers and thoughts and not far from my e-mail account.
You will hear from me again, and I will be continuing to fellowship and delight in life with First Nations folk in Arizona. It is because of you that I know I will be welcome.
Yours on the Sacred Red Road,
The Rev. Albert P. Kreuger, "Father K"
