Beulah (Bobbe) McCarthy

April 10, 1924 - Feb. 7, 2013

Beulah "Bobbe" McCarthy, Tribal spouse to the late Gerald T. McCarthy, walked on Feb. 7, 2013. They moved to Grand Ronde in the fall of 2004 after living in Sisters, Pacific City, Portland, Canby and Carus for many years. Earlier years were spent in California, Washington and New York besides Oregon.

Bobbe is survived by her sons, Kerry of Grand Ronde and Guy and his wife Kathy from Montana, and daughter Terri Dilts of Grand Ronde. Family meant everything to her. She had six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

While raising her family with her husband, Bobbe worked as a secretary in many settings. She worked in a school, doctor's office, law office, bank and in many businesses.

She loved sewing and crafting, cooking, gardening and canning, as well as playing the organ. Mostly she was known as a good friend to many by volunteering, joining groups and organizing events.

She shared her loves and made sure her children and grandchildren developed their many talents in order to gain self-esteem. She leaves her family with the legacy of being loved.
