Veterans Powwow organizers holding flier contest

Organizers of the 2013 Marce Norwest Veterans Powwow are holding a flier contest for youth in kindergarten through 12^th grades.

Entrants must be Grand Ronde Tribe members or descendants.

Entries must be a piece of art signifying "Warriors of Past and Present." Colors need to be red, white and blue.

Each applicant can submit one piece of art no larger than 11 inches by 17 inches, but preferably 8 inches by 11 inches.

Contestants need to put their name, parents' name, phone number, age, grade and school on the back of the art.

Entries should be submitted to the Governance Center front desk in the Veterans Powwow Flier Contest folder. Deadline for entries is Sunday, March 10.

Prizes will be awarded for the top three submissions. First-place winner will have their design used on the 2013 Marce Norwest Veterans Powwow flier.
