Dear Smoke Signals:

I would like to thank all of my friends and family who came to my birthday party and for all of the cards, etc. I especially want to thank my sons Steve, Gary and Bill for planning and organizing the event. It meant a lot to me to see so many friends that I hadn't seen in years.

Dear Smoke Signals:

Unity of Salem had the opportunity to have Jan Michael Looking Wolf for a concert.

I happened to be in the audience. Being part Cherokee, it was a great thrill to hear Jan's musical work with his flutes. I saw my Elders in the spirit there at the concert. I walk with the White Buffalo and it is in my heart to give the blessings to Jan's life work from the White Buffalo. As a warrior-shaman, I know the value of healing music, of being one heart, mind and soul.

My thanks to the Grand Ronde for being the family that supports Jan Michael Looking Wolf in his life journey.
