Letters to the Editor -- June 15, 2015

Dear Smoke Signals:

This is in regard to the $25,000 the Willamina High School wants to hang our flag. They have already reaped the financial rewards from our Tribe. We’ve already paid a big enough price with what’s happened in our past without this insult. This is a slap in our face (again); ours and our ancestors.

It is an honor and a privilege to have our flag. They should be paying us.
