Monday, April 10

Tribal police were called to the 26000 block of Salmon River Highway for a reported menacing. After an investigation, a male suspect was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, menacing and unlawful use of a weapon.

Tribal police assisted a citizen with a dog stuck under their house. Polk County Animal Control was contacted.

A Tribal police officer assisted a citizen who appeared to be having a stroke in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway.

A male called the Tribal police lieutenant to let him know he appreciated how polite and professional Officer Tyler Brown was with him during a contact. In fact, he thanked the lieutenant for Officer Brown writing him a citation.

Loose dogs were called in again in the area of McPherson Road. The dogs were reunited with their owner.

A citizen called regarding an ongoing case. A Tribal officer answered their questions.

Officers responded to the area of Tilixam Circle regarding a possible restraining order violation. Officers determined no crime had been committed.

Tribal police had several citizen contacts throughout the day. Officers answered citizen questions and concerns.

Another loose dog complaint was received in the area of McPherson Road. A Tribal officer located the dog and returned it to its owner.

Drugs were located in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police seized the substance for destruction.

Monday, April 17

Tribal police assisted Oregon State Police with a traffic crash on Highway 18.

A complaint was received in the area of Tyee Road. Tribal police responded and determined no crime had occurred.

Tribal police went to the area of Raven Loop and interviewed a minor at the request of their parent.

A citizen reported someone keyed their vehicle. Tribal police are investigating.

Tribal police were requested to assist Yamhill County Sheriff’s deputies with a drug investigation.

A disturbance was reported to Tribal police in the area of Raven Loop. Tribal police responded and determined no crime had occurred.

A disturbance was reported in the area of Tilixam Circle regarding a juvenile who was armed. Tribal police and Polk County deputies responded and assisted the juvenile and family members.
Wednesday, April 19

Tribal police assisted medics with a patient in the area of Fire Hall Road.

Oregon State Police requested Tribal police respond to Highway 18 to check for a reported unconscious person lying in a ditch. Tribal police responded and determined it was not a person, but a blue tarp that apparently resembled jeans.

A female with an outstanding arrest warrant was located by Tribal police and arrested.

A male suspect was arrested for DUII on Grand Ronde Road.

A counterfeit bill was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police are investigating.

A large group of suspicious persons was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police and Polk County deputies responded. No crime had occurred.
Thursday, April 20

The same group of suspicious persons was again reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. As the individuals left the area, Tribal police recognized the driver as having a valid arrest warrant. After an investigation, several individuals were arrested on various charges, including outstanding arrest warrants, drugs and weapons charges.

Friday, April 21

A stolen vehicle out of the Klamath Falls area was reported to be in the area of Raven Loop. Tribal police investigated and the vehicle was not located.

Tribal police assisted Yamhill County deputies with a stolen vehicle.

Oregon State Police located a lost wallet and requested Tribal police return it to the owner who lived on Grand Ronde Road. Tribal police were unable to find the owner and secured the wallet for safekeeping.

A citizen reported a prostitution ring. Tribal police investigated and determined the report was unfounded and due to a mental health issue.

The stolen vehicle was located in the area of Grand Ronde Road.
Saturday, April 22

The stolen funds from April 16 were returned.

The owner of the lost wallet was contacted and advised on how to retrieve the wallet.

A sex offense was reported to Tribal police. Police are investigating.

A theft was reported in the 26000 block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police are investigating.

Tribal police assisted Yamhill County Sheriff’s deputies with arresting several individuals who had outstanding arrest warrants.

Gunshots were reported in the area of Hebo Road. Tribal police investigated and determined no crime had been committed.

A driving complaint was reported to Tribal police, who were unable to locate the vehicle.
