Tribe closing Reservation lands in mid-August during eclipse weekend

Due to the anticipated increase in traffic during fire season, Tribal Council and Natural Resources Department staff have decided to limit access and gates will be closed to Tribal lands on Agency Creek beginning 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, through Monday, Aug. 21. Furthermore, Big Buck campground will be closed beginning Friday, Aug. 18, and will re-open on Tuesday, Aug. 22, fire season permitting. During these times of closure, Fire Patrol personnel will be patrolling the Reservation and community to identify any potential hazards.
