Elders holding three pool table fundraisers
The Elders Activity Center has a new pool table that was delivered on Monday, March 5, and now the Elders are holding three fundraisers to help replenish the Elders Fun Fund that paid for the new table.
Elders Activity Assistant Daniel Ham said the old pool table, which the Elders Activity Center received from Youth Education in 2009, has been donated to the Men’s Transitional House.
The three fundraisers include an Indian Taco Time scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 12, at the Elders Activity Center, 48940 Blacktail Drive. Tacos will be $6 each, fry bread $3 each and soft drinks and water will be $1 each.
The second fundraiser will be a car wash, bake sale and hot dog stand from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, March 26, at the Elders Activity Center. Hot dogs will be $2, chips and soft drinks will be $1 each and a combo meal of hot dog, chips and drink will be $3. Car washes will be by donation.
The third fundraiser will be a spaghetti feed and silent auction set for 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at the Elders Activity Center.
