June 8, 1943 – June 15, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Tribal Elder Patricia Joan Pullin announces her passing on June 15, 2018, in Carson City, Nev.

Patsy, to family and friends, was born in Portland, Ore., on June 8, 1943, to Frank and Kathryn Harrison.

She won a losing battle with ovarian cancer when she left us to be with her husband of 51 years, Gene Pullin.

The eldest of 10 children, she is survived by her mother, Kathryn Harrison; sisters, Diane, Kathy and Karen; and brothers, Roger, Raymond and David.

She was the loving mother of four children: Tommy, Tracy, Dean and Kelly; and the proud grandmother of Rowan, Denver, Denver Dean Jr., Patryk, Danaell, Olivia, Thomas, Jack and Steven. She is also survived by her adored great-grandchildren Ashlynn and Morgan Brown along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver “Gene” E. Pullin; granddaughter, Micah Lynn Brown; father, Frank Harrison; brothers, Tom and Frank Harrison; and sister, Jeanette Harrison.

She retired from the Social Services Department at Grand Ronde and spent more than 25 years as a country-western musician. Patsy loved music and her Native American heritage, and she championed women’s rights.

Patsy was thoughtful and intelligent, and a dedicated family member who you could always count on. She will be forever remembered.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 21, at Autumn Funeral Home, 1575 N. Lompa Lane, Carson City, Nev.
