Grand Ronde Fire Station slates Oct. 13 open house

The Grand Ronde Fire Station, 28480 McPherson Road, will hold an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13.

The station, operated by the West Valley/Sheridan/Southwest Polk Fire District and funded by the Grand Ronde Tribe, is inviting community members to take a tour of the fire station, meet staff members and enjoy refreshments. The Red Cross also will be in attendance to provide information on its smoke detector campaign.
