Community Fund seeking extras for filming of commercials

Spirit Mountain Community Fund is filming new commercials to highlight the good that the Grand Ronde Tribe does with casino dollars, as well as help to make a stronger connection between the Tribe, Spirit Mountain Casino and Community Fund.

Filming will take place Tuesday and Wednesday, July 12-13, and the fund is looking for community members to help by filling in as extras during filming.

Four different commercials will be filmed and various extras will be needed both days from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There will be a powwow scene filmed on July 13 that will need approximately 200 extras. There will be drumming and dancing and the extras will be staged around the powwow grounds Atrium to fill in as spectators during the powwow.

Lunch will be provided for all extras who volunteer for the powwow scene, which will require 20 extras at 9:30 a.m. and 180 extras at 10:30 a.m.
