Thursday, June 23
- Assist outside agency with a report of an injured dog in the area of milepost 22 on Highway 18. Officers drove through the area and could not find the dog.
- Trespassing reported in the 27100 block of Salmon River Highway. A male left the property without police contact.
- Citizen contact occurred in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road.
- Driving complaint reported in the area of milepost 28 on Highway 18. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
- Assist outside agency with a welfare check in the 9400 block of Fort Hill Road. A female was heard yelling for help and it was determined that she was suffering from mental health issues.
Friday, June 24
- Responded to a two vehicle crash in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road. The vehicles were involved in a fender bender.
- Report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Yamhill River Road and Highway 18B. The vehicle appeared to be abandoned.
- Responded to a single vehicle crash in the area of milepost 25 on Highway 18. The vehicle hit a deer.
- Report of hit-and-run in the 27100 block of Salmon River Highway. The driver hit another vehicle while attempting to park and then left. The driver was located on property and the drivers exchanged information.
Saturday, June 25
- A driving complaint was reported in the area of milepost 23 on Highway 18. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
- Suspicious vehicle reported in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road. A female who was letting her dog run was advised the area was closed after dark.
- Driving complaint reported in the area of milepost 29 on Highway 18. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
- Assist outside agency with a report of a hazard in the roadway in the area of milepost 16 on Highway 18. Officers were unable to locate any hazard.
- Traffic assist performed in the area of milepost 26 on Highway 18. The vehicle was broken down and the driver was offered a ride to Spirit Mountain Casino.
- Assist outside agency with a vehicle blocking the roadway in the area of milepost 19 on Highway 18. Officers located the vehicle, which was off the roadway.
- Traffic hazard reported in the area of milepost 20 on Highway 18. Hay was in the roadway.
- Responded to an elude report in the area of milepost 22 on Highway 18. The vehicle failed to yield to police vehicles and attempted to elude the police. Due to safety reasons, officers discontinued pursuing the vehicle.
- Responded to an elude report in the area of milepost 24 on Highway 18. A motorcycle failed to stop for officers and attempted to elude police. Due to safety for high speeds, officers discontinued pursuing the vehicle.
Sunday, June 26
- Citizen contact occurred in the 9600 block of Raven Loop.
- Trespass reported in the 27100 block of Salmon River Highway. A male was warned for trespassing.
- Assist outside agency with a cover request for a reported burglary in the Willamina area.
Monday, June 27
- Driving complaint received in the area of milepost 9 on Highway 18. Officers located the vehicle and determined the driver was not impaired.
- Citizen contact occurred in the 27100 block of Salmon River Highway.
- Citizen contact occurred in the area of Big Buck campground.
- Property found in the area of Big Buck campground.
- Trespass reported in the 27100 block of Salmon River Highway.
- Assist outside agency with a report of two missing juveniles in the area of Mill Creek Road. The two juveniles were located by police.
- Assist outside agency with a single vehicle crash into a ditch in the area of milepost 20 on Highway 18.
Tuesday, June 28
- Property found in the 27100 block of Salmon River Highway.
- Assist outside agency with a report of shots fired in the area of the 8300 block of Grand Ronde Road. A goat was killed by two dogs belonging to a nearby home. Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted the investigation.
- Assist outside agency with a report of theft in the area of Coal Creek.
- Domestic disturbance reported in the 100 block of Wind River Drive. Officers investigated and determined that no crimes were committed.
- Disturbance reported in the 27100 block of Salmon River Highway. A female was placed on a hold for a mental health evaluation and taken to a local hospital.
Wednesday, June 29
- Citizen contact occurred in the Salem area.
- Disturbance reported in the 100 block of Wind River Drive. When officers arrived, those involved in the disturbance had already left.
Thursday, June 30
- Fraud reported in the 26800 block of Salmon River Highway. A male used a counterfeit bill to pay for gas.
- Assist outside agency with a report of a motorcycle on fire.
- Attempt to locate a dirt bike in the area of Grand Ronde and Tyee roads.
- Driving complaint received in the area of milepost 15 on Highway 18. Officers located the vehicle and determined the driver was not impaired.
- Driving complaint received in the area of milepost 22 on Highway 18. Officers were not in position to locate the vehicle.
Friday, July 1
- Citizen contact occurred in the 27100 block of Salmon River Highway. A male was arrested for a valid warrant.
- Assist outside agency with a cover request for an assault in the 29000 block of Joe Day Way. Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies are leading the investigation.
- Driving complaint received in the area of milepost 24 on Highway 18. The vehicle was located and the driver was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
- Assist outside agency with a cover request in the area of milepost 24 on Highway 18 on a traffic stop.
- Theft reported in the 26800 block of Salmon River Highway.
- Suspicious vehicle reported in the area of milepost 24 on Hebo Road. The occupants were warned for trespassing.
- Assist outside agency regarding an animal complaint in the area of milepost 22 on Highway 18. A loose dog was in the road. Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies took possession of the dog.
Saturday, July 2
- Assist outside agency with a cover request in the area of Matthews Street in Willamina. Yamhill County deputies arrested a driver for DUII.
- Traffic hazard reported in the area of milepost 24 on Hebo Road. There was a report of a truck broken down in the roadway.
- Traffic hazard reported in the area of milepost 24 on Highway 18. A vehicle had a flat tire.
- Assist outside agency with a single vehicle crash in the area of milepost 4 on Highway 18B.
- Traffic assist performed in the area of milepost 23 on Highway 18. A vehicle needed a jump start.
- Citizen contact occurred in the area of milepost 22 on Highway 18.
- Traffic stop occurred in the area of milepost 26 on Highway 18. The driver was arrested for driving while suspended (misdemeanor).
Sunday, July 3
- Citizen contact occurred in the 9600 block of Hebo Road.
- Citizen contact occurred in the area of Highway 18 and Grand Ronde Road.
- Assist outside agency with a disturbance in the 19000 block of Highway 22.
Monday, July 4
- Assist outside agency with a hit-and-run in the area of Main Street in Willamina.
- Officers attended a community event in the Willamina area.
- Traffic stop occurred in the area of milepost 27 on Highway 18. Juveniles were in possession of alcohol, which was confiscated.
- Assist outside agency with an alarm in the 25000 block of Grand Ronde Road. Officers verified the alarm was false.
- Citizen contact occurred in the 48700 block of Dragonfly Drive.
- Assist outside agency with a cover request in the area of Pioneer Drive for a domestic disturbance.
- Welfare check occurred in the area of milepost 22 on Highway 18 for a male laying on the side of the road. He was provided a ride home.
Tuesday, July 5
- Domestic disturbance reported in the 26800 block of Salmon River Highway. Officers determined that no crimes were committed.
- Responded to a two vehicle crash in the area of Highway 18 and Grand Ronde Road.
- Traffic hazard reported in the area of milepost 22 on Highway 18. An abandoned vehicle was given a tow tag.
- Driving complaint reported in the area of milepost 18 on Highway 18. Officers located the vehicle and determined the driver was not impaired.
- Hit-and-run reported in the area of milepost 22 on Highway 18. A vehicle left on the side of the road was struck by another vehicle.
- Driving complaint reported in the area of milepost 10 on Highway 22. The vehicle was located and the driver was issued citations.
- Citizen contact occurred with two men, who were both arrested for valid Marion County warrants.
Wednesday, July 6
- Suspicious vehicle reported in the 25000 block of Yamhill River Road.
- Fireworks complaint reported in the area of Tyee Road.
- Citizen contact occurred in the area of Blacktail Drive.
- Traffic assist performed in the area of milepost 25 on Highway 18.
- Assist outside agency with a cover request in the 25000 block of Yamhill River Road.
- Animal complaint reported in the 27100 block of Salmon River Highway.
Thursday, July 7
- Traffic hazard reported in the area of Highway 18 and Hebo Road.
- Welfare check performed in the 48700 block of Eagle Loop.
- Citizen contact occurred in the 8500 block of Grand Ronde Road.
- Citizen contact occurred in the area of milepost 26 on Highway 18.
- Suspicious vehicle reported in the area of milepost 26 on Highway 18.
- Suspicious vehicle reported in the area of milepost 21 on Highway 18.
- Suspicious vehicle reported in the area of milepost 24 on Hebo Road. The occupants of the vehicle were warned for trespassing.

- Suspicious activity reported in the 28600 block of Salmon River Highway.
- Citizen contact occurred in the area of Tyee Road.
- Traffic assist performed in the area of milepost 22 on Highway 18 for a flat tire.
Saturday, July 9
- Citizen contact occurred in the 27100 block of Salmon River Highway. A male was arrested for eluding police and reckless driving.
- Assist outside agency with a two vehicle crash in the area of Hebo and Grand Ronde roads.
- Driving complaint received in the area of milepost 23 on Highway 18. Due to a delay, officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
Sunday, July 10
- Traffic stop occurred in the area of milepost 22 on Highway 18. The driver had failed to register as a sex offender and was told to register immediately.
- Stolen vehicle reported in the 48700 block of Dragonfly Drive. The vehicle was located and a suspect was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.
- Lost property reported in the 27100 block of Salmon River Highway.
- Trespass reported in the 26800 block of Salmon River Highway.
- Suspicious vehicle reported in the area of milepost 24 on Hebo Road. A male was warned for trespassing.
- Assist outside agency with a single vehicle crash in the area of milepost 11 on Hebo Road.
- Traffic stop occurred in the area of milepost 25 on Highway 18. The driver was arrested for DUII.
Monday, July 11
- Suspicious vehicle reported in the area of milepost 21 on Highway 18. The occupants were warned for trespassing.
- Driving complaint reported in the Sheridan area. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
- Domestic disturbance reported in the 9500 block of Raven Loop. Officers determined that no crimes were committed.
- Drugs found in the 26800 block of Salmon River Highway.
Tuesday, July 12
- Trespassing reported in the area of milepost 21 on Highway 18. Occupants were warned for trespassing.
- Traffic hazard reported in the area of milepost 20 on Highway 18. A tree blocking the road was cleared.
- Driving complaint reported in the area of milepost 12 on Highway 18. The vehicle was located and officers determined the driver was not impaired.
- Assist outside agency with a disturbance in the Sheridan area.
- Assist outside agency with a cover request for a warrant subject in the Willamina area.
Wednesday, July 13
- Citizen contact occurred in the area of milepost 23 on Highway 18. There was a report of a male laying on the highway. He was OK and walked to Spirit Mountain Casino.
- Citizen contact occurred in the area of milepost 27 on Highway 18. A male was running along the highway and picking up items that came out of his vehicle.
- Road rage incident reported in the area of milepost 15 on Highway 18.
