April 12 open houses seeking input on Tribal school, transportation projects
The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde will hold open houses on Wednesday, April 12, that will seek input on the feasibility of a Tribally operated school and updates to the Long Range Transportation Plan with all aspects of transportation, including roads, highways, bicycle/pedestrian facilities, intersections, crossing, transit, safety and repair.
The community will have two opportunities to attend at noon and 5:30 p.m. with both meetings held in the Tribal gym, 9615 Grand Ronde Road. Food will be provided at the evening meeting.
Both open houses will have a short presentation at the beginning and then opportunities to look at information about the projects and ask questions and provide input to the project teams.
A survey to seek additional information about both a Tribal school and future transportation improvement projects will be available April 12-26. Tribal members and community members are encouraged to complete the survey.
Anyone who completes the survey, which will be available at bit.ly/OurFutureGR, will be entered into a drawing for one of 10 $25 Amazon gift cards.
